Good daily habits keep your printer reliable and your print quality high. Follow this short daily checklist — most steps take just a few minutes.

Daily Maintenance Checklist

1. Check the environment — make sure the machine is in a clean area with proper temperature and humidity, away from dust and direct sunlight.
2. Warm up and run a nozzle check — before production, print a nozzle test pattern to make sure all nozzles fire correctly.
3. Check ink levels — confirm there is enough ink for the day’s jobs to avoid running dry mid-print.
4. Keep the printing area clean — remove dust and lint from the media path and platform before printing.
5. Follow the shutdown procedure — when finishing for the day, follow the recommended standby/cleaning/shutdown steps in your manual, and cover the machine if it will be idle for a long time.
